Syrup poached apricots

Ingredients

- 1 kg 1 kg Apricot(s)
- 200 g 200 g Sugar powder
- 2 2 glass(s) Cold water
- 1 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 2 2 Badian Star
Method
- 1.Preparation of apricots
- 2.Wash the apricots well and cut them in half. Remove the cores.
- 3.Cooking over low heat
- 4.Bring water and sugar powder to a boil in a large saucepan. As soon as boiling, heat over low heat until the sugar is dissolved.
- 5.After cooking
- 6.As soon as a liquid syrup is obtained, add the cinnamon stick, badian stars and denoyated apricots. Cook over low heat for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring regularly.
- 7.Cooling
- 8.At the end of cooking, remove from the heat and leave the apricots in syrup to cool.
- 9.Finish
- 10.Remove the cinnamon stick and badian stars from the preparation.
- 11.Dressing
- 12.Drew the apricots in verrines or ramequins and cover them with cooled syrup.
- 13.Tasting
- 14.Enjoy with a ball of vanilla ice cream and some sweet cookies.
