Method

- 2.Start by preheating your oven to 180°C (th.6). This preheating time is essential to ensure a homogeneous cooking of the clafoutis as soon as it enters the oven. Take advantage of this moment to prepare your ingredients and cake pan.

- 4.Wash the cherries thoroughly and dry them with absorbent paper. You can choose to denoyaute them or not according to your preference. Weigh the flour, sugar and prepare all the other ingredients at hand to make the dough easier.

- 6.In a large bowl, break the eggs and whip them with the sugar powder until you get a sparkling mixture. Then add the sieved flour with a pinch of salt and mix well to avoid lumps. Gradually add milk, liquid cream and vanilla extract to produce a smooth and homogeneous paste.

- 8.Gently butter the bottom and edges of a gratin mould, then sprinkle it with a little sugar to facilitate the release and bring a light caramelization. Place the cherries evenly at the bottom of the mould. Gently pour the clafouti preparation on the cherries to coat them well.
