Salted Butter Caramel Spread

- 10 10 sugar cubes
- 15 g 15 g salted butter
- 4 c. à soupe 4 tablespoons milk
Method
- 1.If you want to make a large quantity of salted butter caramel, work in several batches, it's easier! Moisten the sugar cubes (or the caster sugar) under a small trickle of water and place them in a heavy-bottomed saucepan.
- 2.Add the butter. Melt the butter and the sugar over low heat. When the butter has melted, bring to a boil over medium heat until you obtain a reddish-brown caramel.
- 3.Stop the cooking with the milk. Put back over low heat until you obtain a smooth cream with a moderately runny consistency (that of liquid honey). If needed, repeat the operation.
- 4.Let cool in a jar.
- 5.Enjoy.
