Apple Kings' cake in compote

Ingredients

- 2 2 rolls of laminated dough
- 1 1 small pot of apple compote
- 1 1 egg yolk
- 1 1 bean
Method
- 1.Start by preheating the oven to 200°C to make it warm when baking the cake.
- 2.Roll the first laminated dough on a baking sheet covered with sulphurized paper.
- 3.Spread the apple sauce generously over the whole surface of the dough, leaving a border of about 2 cm around.
- 4.Slip the beans discreetly into the compote, then cover with the second laminated dough.
- 5.Weld the edges carefully by pressing with your fingers to seal both pasta together.
- 6.Decorate the top with the tip of a knife by slightly tracing patterns, then brush the entire surface with egg yolk with a brush.
- 7.Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the cake is golden. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving and tasting.
