Grilled mackerels with herbs

- 1200 g 1200 g Mackerel(s)
- 2 2 Lemon(s)
- 1 1 bouquet(s) Persley
- 1 1 bouquet(s) Thyme
- 1 1 bouquet(s) Aneth
- 1 1 bouquet(s) Coriander
- 2 2 Basil leaves
- 1 1 Small red pepper(s)
- 2 2 garlic pod(s)
- 1 1 Small onion(s)
- 1 1 pinch(s) Cumin
- Salt pepper
Method
- 1.Preparation of fish
- 2.Pass the emptied mackerels under cold water and wipe them. Make 2 deep cuts through each side of the fish. Slip in a few strands of herbs (persil, thyme, aneth, coriander and basil).
- 3.Assembly of ingredients
- 4.In a hollow dish, pour the juice with a lemon and 10 cl of water. Add the rest of the chopped herbs, chopped onion, pressed garlic cloves, pepper and cut into small dice. Season.
- 5.Marinade
- 6.Turn the mackerels in this marinade. Let them marinate about 15 minutes by turning them 1 or 2 times. Drain the fish and wipe them with absorbent paper.
- 7.Cooking
- 8.Lock the fish in a double grill. Grill them on a barbecue or under the grill of the oven for 15 minutes, turning them halfway. After 5 minutes, brush them several times with the marinade. Serve immediately cooked with lemon and country bread quarters.
