Vegetarian Cantonese rice

Ingredients
For 2 servings
- 100 g 100 g rice
- 150 g 150 g peas (frozen)
- 250 g 250 g carrot(s)
- 100 g 100 g maize (canned)
- 2 2 egg(s)
- 2 2 shallots
- 1 c. à café 1 cc coriander coffee (sheets)
- 1 c. à soupe 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 c. à soupe 2 tablespoons olive oil
Method
- 1.Prior to this, remove the ingredients and utensils you need for this recipe. This allows you to have everything in hand and not waste time!
- 2.Place 100g of rice to cook (in a saucepan or self-cooker) in 1.5x of water.
- 3.Wash, peel and cut 2 large carrots (about 250g). Cut into small cubes.
- 4.Cook the carrots steamed for 15 minutes. If you have a rice cooker with steam basket, you can put the carrots in the basket above the rice.
- 5.Cook 150g of peas, steamed or in a pot of water (about 10 minutes).
- 6.Beat two omelette eggs.
- 7.Pour the beaten eggs into a hot hopper (or large skillet, or wok). As soon as the omelette is cooked, reserve it on a plate.
- 8.At this stage, you can take the ingredients to make the baby dish (see instructions below).
- 9.Cut 2 shallots.
- 10.In the hot pan, sauté the shallots with a little olive oil. Add rice, peas, grain corn, carrots, omelette cut into small pieces and 1 tbsp of chiseled coriander leaves.
- 11.For adults, add some soy sauce.
- 12.From 4/6 months: mix 40g of peas with 60g of carrots, and a little water to smooth the purée. add 1 cc of oil.
- 13.From 6 months: mix 50g peas with 60g carrots and 10g omelette, 1 c.c. oil and some coriander. Smooth the puree with a little water if necessary.
- 14.From 8/9 months: mix 40g peas + 40g corn + 60g carrots + 1 c.c. oil + some coriander. Mix with 60g of rice. Chop the omelet with a knife to mix it, or keep the piece aside for baby to eat with her fingers.
