Tunisian tajine

Ingredients

- 500 g 500 g Choice of meat
- 1 1 peeled tomato(s)
- 1 1 bowl(s) Peas
- 150 g 150 g Grated cheese
- 6 6 Egg(s)
- 1 1 Onion(s)
- 2 2 garlic pod(s)
- 1 1 cube(s) Chicken broth
- 1 c. à café 1 c. Curcuma coffee powder
- 1 c. à café 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
- 2 c. à soupe 2 tablespoons Hasty parsley
- 3 c. à soupe 3 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 2 pinch(s) Salt
- 2 2 pinch(s) Pepper
Method
- 1.Peel and thinly slice the onion and peel and chop the garlic. Debon and cut the meat of your choice into cubes. Drain the canned peas.
- 2.Heat olive oil in a casserole or tajine dish placed on high heat. When it is hot, place the onion and garlic sliced in the casserole or dish, then sauté for 3 min, stirring well, until they are translucent.
- 3.Add the pieces of meat, then the chicken broth cube, turmeric and ginger. Season with salt and pepper according to your tastes, then cook for 5 min, grab the meat on all sides so that it can dore evenly.
- 4.Add drained peas and peeled tomatoes. Lower the heat over low heat and cook for 10 min, stirring frequently.
- 5.Meanwhile, preheat the oven th.6 (180°C). In a salad bowl, mix whole eggs with grated cheese and chopped parsley. Salt and pepper according to your tastes.
- 6.When the tajine is ready, pour the egg preparation over it and mix well. Bake in the preheated oven and cook for 30 min, regularly checking for meat cubes.
- 7.When the tajine is cooked, season with salt and pepper if necessary, then serve with couscous meal.
