Strawberry pies easy to make with children

Ingredients

- 1 1 Sanded paste
- 500 g 500 g Strawberry jam
- 250 g 250 g Mascarpone
- 20 cl 20 cl Whole liquid cream
- 60 g 60 g Ice sugar
- 1 1 sachet(s) Vanilla sugar
- 1 c. à café 1 cup of coffee Vanilla extract
- 2 c. à soupe 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
Method
- 1.Preheating the oven
- 2.Start by turning on your oven at 180°C, preferably rotating heat. While the oven heats, gather all the ingredients and prepare the workspace with your children. Take a moment to explain each ingredient and the utensils to use during the rest of the recipe.
- 3.Preparation of dough
- 4.Roll the sanded dough and with a cup or glass, cut circles suitable for your piette moulds. Install the dough in each mould by gently pressing with the fingers. Let your children participate in this playful stage under your supervision, in order to get regular edges.
- 5.Cooking pie bottoms
- 6.Stitch the bottom of the dough with a fork and cover each bottom with baking paper filled with baking balls or dry beans to prevent the dough from inflating. Bake in the hot oven for about 12 to 15 minutes until the dough is nicely golden. Let cool out of the oven.
- 7.Making the cream
- 8.Pour the mascarpone, cold liquid cream, ice sugar, vanilla sugar and vanilla extract into a salad bowl. Shake vigorously, using a drummer, until you get a smooth and firm cream. Add two tablespoons of lemon juice and mix well. Make the cream fresh if necessary.
- 9.Mounting of piettes
- 10.Once the tart bottoms are cooled, cover each with a thin layer of strawberry jam. Using a socket pocket (or a spoon if you are cooking with children), place the mascarpone cream nicely on each bottom. Let your creativity express itself during this fun and friendly step.
- 11.Final decoration
- 12.Place fresh strawberries whole or cut into pieces on the piettes, with a little bit of cream. Sprinkle possibly with icing sugar for a gourmet and decorative touch. Place the tartlets in the refrigerator until the tasting is done so that the cream will take care of the flavours.
- 13.Tasting
- 14.Serve your fresh piettes directly in the moulds or demoulated carefully to preserve their shape. Enjoy this time of family tasting, congratulating the children for their participation in the realization of a gourmet and colourful dessert!
