Soft Salted Butter Caramels

Ingredients

- Fleur de sel (optional)
- 1 1 small can of sweetened condensed milk (about 400 g)
- 100 g 100 g unrefined cane sugar
- 150 g 150 g Paysan Breton salted butter
Method
- 1.Prepare a stainless steel frame of about 15 x 30 cm and oil the sides.
- 2.Put all the ingredients in a saucepan and heat over very low heat while stirring constantly.
- 3.The mixture will thicken and begin to pull away from the sides of the saucepan; continue cooking until you obtain a nice golden color, always stirring constantly so that it does not stick.
- 4.Pour into the frame then place in the refrigerator to harden.
- 5.Sprinkle with fleur de sel and cut into squares.
