Ingredients

- 250 g 250 g Wheat flour
- 25 cl 25 cl Water
- Oil for frying
- Sugar powder
- 1 1 pinch(s) Salt
Method
- 1.Preparation of dough
- 2.Bring to a boil a pot of water with salt. Meanwhile, pour the flour into a bowl and dig a well in the middle. Pour in boiling salted water and mix with a wooden spoon for several minutes, until you get a smooth and homogeneous paste.
- 3.Filling of the socket pocket
- 4.Heat oil in a fryer. Meanwhile, place the churros paste in a socket pocket with a fluted socket, pressing firmly to remove all the air bubbles: they can cause oil projections during cooking. Be vigilant!
- 5.Cooking
- 6.When the oil is hot, drop the dough fillets about 10 cm long with the socket pocket, cutting them with scissors. Let the churros brown for 2 to 4 min, until they are crispy and colourful.
- 7.Finishing and service
- 8.Gently remove them with a skimmer, then drain them onto absorbent paper. Repeat the operation until the dough is exhausted and sprinkle the sugar churros powder and serve them warm.
