Rhubarb compound

- 500 g 500 g Rhubarb
- 100 g 100 g Sugar powder
- 1 1 Water
Method
- 1.Wash and peel the rhubarb and cut it into 1 cm sections. Place your sections of rhubarb in a colander placed on another container like a hollow plate. Sprinkle with sugar powder and let stand for 1 hour. After an hour, drain the rhubarb well. You will see that water has passed through the container under the colander. The rhubarb macerated with sugar.
- 2.In a small saucepan, pour the sections of rhubarb and their juice. Water everything with the glass of water. Cook over medium heat 5 min. stirring with a wooden spoon and then mix over low heat for 25 min. stirring occasionally.
- 3.You can mix your compote for a smooth version or taste it as it is, with some rhubarb pieces. Offer it both hot and cold.
