- 2.Start by denoyating the cherries by cutting them in 2 or with a denoyant. In a large saucepan, place cherries, sugar, vanilla extract, salt and lemon juice. On medium heat, bring it to a boil, while mixing constantly to prevent it from hanging. Then lower the heat and let cook gently for 20 minutes.

- 4.Meanwhile, scramble your pot and lid in a hot saucepan. Dry them.

- 6.Once your jam is cooked, pour it into the pot and close well. Put your pot upside down and wait until the jam is cold to put the pot back to the place. In this way, the closed pot can be stored for several months. Once opened, taste your cherry jam within 7 days.
