Vanilla and rum fig jam

Ingredients
For 4 servings
- 1 kg 1 kg figs
- 500 g 500 g of crystal sugar
- 1 g 1 g of vanilla
- 1 1 tc. of rum
Method
- 1.Cut the vanilla pod in half lengthwise.
- 2.Place figs, sugar and vanilla pod in a jam basin.
- 3.Add 1 glass of water.
- 4.Cook for 30 minutes.
- 5.Mix often with a skimmer.
- 6.Add the rum.
- 7.Scum if necessary.
- 8.All we have to do is pot.
