Easy Chocolate Buttercream

Ingredients
For 8 servings
- 25 cl 25 cl heavy whipping cream (30% fat)
- 200 g 200 g butter
- 200 g 200 g chocolate
- 150 g 150 g sugar
Method
- 1.Fill a saucepan with water.
- 2.Bring to a boil.
- 3.Break the chocolate into squares.
- 4.Place them in a smaller saucepan or a bowl.
- 5.Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie.
- 6.While the chocolate is melting, cut the butter into small pieces.
- 7.Off the bain-marie, add the butter to the chocolate.
- 8.Stir well to melt it completely.
- 9.Set aside to let the mixture cool.
- 10.In a cold bowl, whip the very cold cream for a few moments.
- 11.Add the sugar and keep whipping to whip it into chantilly cream.
- 12.Gently fold this chantilly into the butter and chocolate mixture using a spatula.
