- 1 1/2 fluid ounces (45 ml) ice-cold vodka
- 1 fluid ounce (30 ml) fresh espresso or 1 1/2 fluid ounces (45 ml) fresh strong coffee from a moka pot or cold brew concentrate
- 1 ounce (30 ml) coffee liqueur, such as Kahlua or Mr. Black
- Very tiny pinch of kosher salt
- Ice, for shaking
- 3 espresso beans, for garnish (optional)
Method

In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, espresso/coffee, and coffee liqueur, along with the pinch of salt. Add ice, close the shaker, and shake vigorously until the shaker is frosting over and beginning to freeze your hands.

In a martini glass or cocktail coupe, strain espresso martini, then top with the 3 espresso beans for garnish. Serve right away.
