Vanilla ice cream base

Ingredients
For 4 servings
- 30 cl 30 cl milk
- 20 cl 20 cl of fresh cream
- 80 g 80 g sugar
- 6 6 egg yolks
- 3 g 3 g of vanilla extract or liquid vanilla
- 1 g 1 g of vanilla
- 1 sachet 1 bags of vanilla sugar
Method
- 1.Heat the milk and cream with the vanilla pod.
- 2.In a terrine whisk the yellows with sugar, vanilla sugar and vanilla extract.
- 3.Pour boiling milk over yolks and sugar.
- 4.Return to the heat and cook stirring continuously.
- 5.When the cream thickens it from the heat and let it cool. Place the ice in a sorbetière and taste immediately! If you don't have a sorbiter, place the mixture in a large, low-high dish and put in the freezer. Move it regularly every 15 minutes, until it is taken. Count about 2 hours.
