Authentic Turkish Loukoum

Ingredients
For 4 servings
- 100 g 100 g sugar
- 50 g 50 g corn starch Maizena
- 20 cl 20 cl of water
- 1 1 Choice of aroma
- 1 1 Colour drop
Method
- 1.Boil half the water with sugar without caramelizing.
- 2.Mix the other half with the maizena, the food dye and the perfume of your choice.
- 3.Pour all over the boiling syrup.
- 4.Mix well with a wooden spoon for 5 minutes over medium heat.
- 5.Chemize a mould with sulfized paper.
- 6.Pour over the gelatinous mixture.
- 7.Let cool well (even overnight).
- 8.Cut the preparation into pieces.
- 9.Coat them with ice sugar.
