Mango Margarita

Ingredients
For 4 servings
- Tajín Clásico seasoning (for serving; optional)
- Lime wedge (for serving; optional)
- 12 oz frozen mango chunks (about 3 cups)
- 5 oz tequila, preferably blanco (such as Patrón)
- 3 oz fresh lime juice
- 1.5 oz Cointreau or other orange liqueur
- 5 c. à soupe sugar
- 0.5 c. à café Diamond Crystal or ¼ tsp. Morton kosher salt
Method
- 1.If using Tajín Clásico seasoning, place some on a small plate. Rub 4 glasses with lime wedge as desired, then roll moistened areas in Tajín to coat. Set glasses aside.
- 2.Purée 12 oz. frozen mango chunks (about 3 cups), 5 oz. tequila, preferably blanco, 3 oz. fresh lime juice, 1½ oz. Cointreau or other orange liqueur, 5 Tbsp. sugar, ½ tsp. Diamond Crystal or ¼ tsp. Morton kosher salt, and 12 oz. (3 cups) ice in a blender until smooth and slushy. Divide margarita among prepared glasses.
