Tunisian mesfouf

Ingredients

- 500 g 500 g Couscous sole
- 500 g 500 g Date(s)
- 100 g 100 g Soft butter
- 100 g 100 g Unsalted pistachio(s)
- 100 g 100 g Whole almond(s)
- 1 1 Grenada(s)
- 10 cl 10 cl Hot water
- Olive oil
Method
- 1.Pour the couscous semolina into a large bowl.
- 2.Add hot water and a fillet of olive oil and cover.
- 3.Let the semolina swell for 15 minutes, stirring from time to time.
- 4.Meanwhile, remove the fresh dates and cut them into pieces.
- 5.Finely chop the pistachios and whole almonds.
- 6.Cut the grenade in half and get its seeds back. Scratch them in a mortar.
- 7.Melt butter in a microwave bowl.
- 8.When the meal has swollen well, add the pieces of fresh dates, crushed grenade seeds and chopped pistachios and almonds. Move well.
- 9.Add the melted butter and mix again.
- 10.Serve this Tunisian mesfouf in cups.
- 11.Accompany it with vanilla or pistachio ice cream for dessert.
