Garlic and honey crisp chicken (China)

Ingredients
For 2 servings
- 250 g 250 g chicken thigh or chest
- 1 1 egg white
- 1 tasse 1 cups of corn starch
- 4 4 new beveled onions
- 3 gousse 3 cloves of garlic
- frying oil
- sesame seeds
- 1 c. à soupe 1 tablespoons of light soy sauce
- 1 c. à café 1 teaspoons of garlic paste
- 1 c. à café 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 1 half teaspoons of sugar
- 1 1 large pinches of black pepper
- 2 c. à soupe 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce
- 1 c. à café 1 teaspoons of black soy sauce
- 2 c. à soupe 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 2 c. à soupe 2 tablespoons of honey
Method
- 1.Cut chicken into thin strips.
- 2.Mix the marinade ingredients and place chicken strips on them.
- 3.Let marinate 15 min.
- 4.Remove chicken from marinade. Break a white egg in the marinated chicken. Mix.
- 5.Coat each piece with cornstarch. Make sure all chicken strips are separated. Remove excess starch before frying.
- 6.Fry chicken strips in oil for 1-2 min until golden and crispy.
- 7.Remove the pieces and transfer them to absorbent paper to drain.
- 8.Mix soy sauces, lemon and honey in a bowl.
- 9.Heat the wok (or skillet) over medium-high heat. Pour a tablespoon of oil, add garlic and stir for a few seconds.
- 10.Then add the sauce mixture. Simmer 5 seconds before adding the new chicken strips and onions. Mix well over high heat for 1-2 min.
- 11.Sprinkle the chicken pieces with sesame seeds and serve with rice.
