Strawberry syrup with badiane

Ingredients
For 8 servings
- 500 g 500 g strawberries
- 200 g 200 g cane sugar
- 1 1 star anise or Badiane
- 0.5 1⁄2 lemon juice
Method
- 1.Wash strawberries and cut them in 2. Pour the cane sugar over it.
- 2.Add the badian star previously crushed into small pieces, lemon juice, mix and cover. Let rest cool for about ten hours.
- 3.Mix the preparation, filter with a sieve and pour into a saucepan.
- 4.Heat over low heat for 20 minutes until thickened. Remove the foam that forms on the surface during cooking. Transfer to a container.
- 5.Keep cool for up to 5 days or freeze in icebox prints.
